By Mert Ozge

There are different systems that work around the world. Even in work or home, there is a system that is followed so that everything will be in order. Our body has different systems that have different functions as well. The digestive system of both humans and animals is an integral part of their body. Without the digestive system the much need nutrients of the body wouldn't be given and the body will not be able to function properly. The pancreas secretes enzymes to be able to divide carbohydrates, fats and proteins in the smaller intestine. A lot of diseases may affect the pancreas. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most troublesome diseases you may have in the pancreas. Pancreatic cancer survival rate has been one of the one of the most lethal in a stage four.

Pancreatic cancer survival rate can diminish fast when the malignant cancer cells have grown and expanded further to other tissues and systems. Stage one of this disease can be compared to any other cancer types; there is a huge rate for survival upon the removal of the tumor. Stage two pancreatic cancer survival rate has a 20 percent survival rate upon the removal of the tumor. These stages all greatly depend on the possibility of the malignant cells to have infiltrated other systems in the body. Each stage that the cancer is not removed increases the possibility that the person with cancer will die due to the rapid expansion of the cancer tumor.

Pancreatic cancer survival rate can go up if the person with cancer will be proactive in his or her well being. A pleasant lifestyle can reduce the risk of having any cancer even though there are times that cancer can be hereditary passed. Sometimes the biggest concern of a person who just knew he had cancer is they think it's the end of their world and they just give up on their lives. Cancer can be removed and treated so there's no harm in trying to get better since there are even stage 4 cancer survivors. Hope is there to those who dream of it, once you leave hope behind then there is no tomorrow.

By Mert Ozge

In our world today, most people are very particular in looks, how an object or place seems like. Cleanliness and tranquility is a major plus for any person or organization. Businessmen look upon how sturdy and elegant a company building looks like in order for them to determine if they would invest in the organization or not. Cleaning is an integral part of any system. Even in our own body, a part of it detoxifies our blood from harmful elements cleaning our system in the process. The liver is an integral part of any vertebrate. Without it functioning properly, we may be poisoned and die. One disease that can occur in our liver is liver cancer, which is one of the deadliest diseases on the world today. This kind of cancer is not limited to adults but can also be found in children. Liver cancer survival rate is higher in children than most adults.

Liver cancer survival rate are relatively high than other forms of cancer. There are two types of this kind of cancer that could easily be treated or removed. At an early stage there is a 90 percent chance of survival of a patient with a stage one liver cancer with a percentage rate of 70 that are complete cures. Another source of this malignant disease is when malignant cells from other tumors start to spread; it usually affects the liver since the liver one organ that blood needs to go through to be detoxified. After the cancer cells start to expand in the liver, it may further lead to more fatal liver diseases.

Liver cancer survival rate is better than other types of cancers. We shouldn't be afraid of this disease because if treated and detected early we have a huge chance of ridding our body of the malignant cells. Cancer is not something we should be scared of. We must believe that if there is hope then there is a solution to every problem there is in this world. We shouldn't give up on something because behind every dark cloud is a ray of light waiting to be seen.

Kidney Cancer Survival Rate

By Mert Ozge

In today's generation renal diseases have been very common in almost every age range. Almost every snack today has high sodium content that contribute more and more to destroying our kidneys. From noodles to junk food, even seasonings used to add flavor to the food we eat our home are huge contributors to having renal disease in the future. Our kidney is an integral part of our body; they filter our blood and transmit others as waste products in our body. As of today many kidney related diseases have pop out due to abuse, from kidney failure, high blood pressure and diabetes, all these can lead to a worse disease called kidney cancer. Kidney cancer survival rate at the worst stage can range from five to fifteen percent chances of survival.

Kidney cancer survival rate like any other forms of cancer diminishes when the malignant cells start to expand to other regions of the body. At the initial stage, if diagnosed and treated early, a person with this type of cancer has a recovery chance of eighty to ninety percent. Operation and chemotherapy may be required for anyone who has cancer so that they could determine if the cancer cells have finally stopped spreading. At stage two, there is a slight depletion in the chances of survival to seventy five to sixty five percent. Usually in this stage, the malignant cancer tumor has started to expand in the kidney so it is noticeable in medical equipments. At the third stage where the tumor starts to expand to nearby tissues the chances of survival goes down to forty to seventy percent.

People must always be ready for anything that comes their way. We see healthy people get dreaded diseases like cancer without them knowing it. Cancer is a disease that no one is limited to having; even children can be affected by this at a very young age. What's important is to have a healthy lifestyle and always be cautious on what you feel in your body. Always keep it in your mind that you shouldn't be scared if you found out you have kidney cancer, since kidney cancer survival rate greatly depend if you got screened at an earlier stage.

Stomach Cancer Survival Rate

By Mert Ozge

The earth is a great source of every need of every creature that inhabits it. From the seas to the land, there is adequate nourishment to fill up every possible need of the person or creature in the place it lives on. Every living organism in our planet greatly depends on food and water. Without any source of nourishment, all these creatures, including us, will struggle to function properly. A man cannot think and work properly without eating and may give out a poor performance in his line of work. The stomach is responsible for digesting the food we eat. Without it we cannot convert food into our source of energy. There is a possibility that malignant cancer cells can grow in our stomach without knowing it. Survival rate for this kind of cancer is very slim if detected in a stage 4 and the chance of detecting it is very hard for the early stages.

Stomach cancer survival rate for stage one can be very high. The only problem in stomach cancer is, it is very hard to be diagnosed that's the reason why sometimes when stomach cancer is found, most of them are at the later stages already. Stage 2 stomach cancer survival rates is still pretty good at 56% chances of survival while at stage 3 there are only a third or 38 percent chances that the person will surpass 5 years.

Difficulty in detection has been the problem in with this type of cancer. Stomach cancer survival rate should have been easy if it could be detected early like any other cancer tumors. Since the body greatly depends on the stomach's capability to transfer nutrients from the food we eat, if a terminal disease like cancer affects the stomach, it would be very difficult for us to be treated in the further stages. We just take it to our mind that any discomfort in any part of our body that repeats itself may be a huge difference than just letting it go. We should go to the doctor immediately if we find some abnormalities in our body since early detection may lead to longer life for anybody who has cancer.

All About Cervical Cancer Survival Rate

Cervical Cancer was once considered the most deadly and widespread cancer. But when deaths relating to it reached alarming rates comprehensive awareness campaigns were launched to inform women of the proper ways of preventing cancer of the cervix. Thus the said cancer transformed from being the most dangerous to being the most preventable. Regular pap smears almost ensures total prevention of incurring the disease. The number of women being diagnosed with the disease was reduced by more than 80%. New innovations in treatment have also resulted in an increase in the general Cervical Cancer Survival Rates.

Survival Rate of Cervical Cancer
Cervical Cancer can be described in four distinct stages. The said stages represent how much the cancer has grown and also how much of a threat it currently is. The stage of the disease also determines the appropriate treatment that needs to be applied to the patient.

Stage IA: 96-99% CSR
This is the earliest stage of the cancer in which the tumor is only visible under a microscope. Surgery is the best treatment in this period because that small size of the tumor allows it to easily be removed in an operation.

Stage IB: 80-90% CSR
In this stage the cancer starts to become visible to the naked eye. Usual treatment is surgery but in instances when an operation cannot suffice chemotherapy, radiation, and laser treatments may also be required.

Stage II: 65-69% CSR
In this stage the tumor has grown so much that it has already spread outside the uterus and infected the surrounding cells and tissues. It still however is yet to spread to the lateral walls of the pelvis or to the lower third of the vagina. Surgery again is the common option with supplementary chemotherapy, radiation, and laser treatment.

Stage III: 40-43% CSR
The cancer has grown to infect the walls of the pelvis as well as most of the vagina and may also have caused alterations to the kidneys. Surgery can no longer be performed in this stage the Cervical Cancer as it is already to widespread and thus causing a dramatic drop in the Survival Rate. Treatments include chemotherapy, radiation, and laser therapy.

Stage IV: 15-20% CSR
This is the final stage of the disease in which the tumor has reached the more distant organs. Chemotherapy, radiation and laser therapy are the available treatments.

Cervical Cancer Survival Rates are mere estimates and are not conclusive.

Uterine Cancer Survival Rate

A Uterine Cancer Survival Rate is measured based on a large scale of people with the same condition/disease. Patients must bear in mind that no two cases are alike and the results of the studies, although reliable, may not accurately be the same with yours.

A Uterine Cancer Survival Rate is the average percentage of the patient to extend their lives up to 5 years soon after the diagnosis is confirmed. This doesn't mean that all of those who participated in the survey had the same chances. Some of them actually lived more than 5 or 10 years despite the cancer.

The earlier the cancer is detected, the better the prognosis and the higher the Uterine Cancer Survival Rate. This is true not just for uterine cancer but to most cancers. If your doctor told you that you only have 50% chances to live, this could mean two things - in a five-year period, you may live less than 2 and a half year or more than that.

There has been a study reporting that uterine cancer is more common to African American than to Caucasian American. Uterine Cancer Survival Rate is also quite higher among the latter than the former.

In a five-year period:

Caucasian Women have about 86% survival percentage.

African American Women have about 61% survival percentage.

Although the reason isn't exactly established, the researchers believed that it has something to do with the higher number of pregnancies (gravida) of African American women compared to their Caucasian counterparts. Food choices and lifestyle preferences are also somewhat related to this issue.

In most cancer cases, the earlier the stage, the higher the survival rate. At stage 0 or 1, the cancer survival rate is at its highest at 96%. When the cancer reaches stage 2 or 3, expect a lower rate of survival at 66%. This will drastically lower at the last stage when the cancer has spread out to other organs of the body such as the ovaries, the intestines, liver and etc. At the stage 4, the survival percentage may just be as low as 25 percent which in a 5-year period is technically just around a year and some months.

Fortunately, most uterine cancer cases are detected as early as stage 1, when the cancer has not yet proliferated and it's easier to remove. Only around 16% of the patients are diagnosed when the cancer is already at its 3rd stage and a lower number is diagnosed at the 4th stage. Therefore, treatment may still be able to help the patient survive up to 5 years of more.

Uterus Cancer Survival Rate

Given that uterine cancer is amongst those type of cancers that are easily detected, uterus cancer survival rates are also pretty agreeable for those who are treated at the earliest stage possible.

The womb or the uterus is an important part of being a woman. Some women may even tell you that having your uterus removed is like having half of your womanly essence taken off as well. Most uterine cancers arises in the endometrium or the inner lining of the uterus that's why sometimes this type is called endometrial cancer.

A 5 year uterus cancer survival rate refers to the ratio of people who are still alive 5 years after the diagnosis is confirmed to those who weren't able to survive the cancer at the same time period. Bear in mind that the patients are all treated with the cancer. Those who weren't treated may have a lower rate of survival as opposed to those who undergo treatment.

Uterine cancer may be a cause of early menopausal, therefore, most patients with cancer of the uterus detect the symptoms during the menopausal ages - around 45-50 years old. Because certain hormonal changes are affecting the emotional aspect of women at these times, some patients may prefer not hearing their uterus cancer survival rate.

But whether you want to hear it or not, the basic fact is that the earlier the cancer is detected, the higher the chance of surviving 5 more years as well. In fact, patients who had been treated starting stage 1 are likely to live 5 years. Their uterus cancer survival rate is up to 100%.

Luckily, a lot of patients are also diagnosed at stage 1, substantially increasing the over-all percentage of survival for all patients with cancer of the uterus. Patients may normally detect symptoms like unusual vaginal bleeding or discharge, some pelvic pain, dysuria or pain during sexual intercourse.

When the disease progresses into a more severe case, the rate of survival also decreases. At the time when the cancer also begins eating surrounding tissues and lymph nodes, the lower the likelihood of chemotherapy or radiation therapy to combat the progression, although it may help in slowing down the proliferation.

Patients who are diagnosed at the last stage have lower chances of making it to 5 years or more. This could be because most women, when they are diagnosed at this stage, immediately lose hope, thus making it impossible for them to have the courage to fight off the cancer. We highly discourage this because even at 25% survival rate, this is still a lot better compared to other types of cancers whose rate are as down as 4%.

Brain Cancer Survival Rate

By Reza Saputra

Brain Cancer Survival Rate: Brain tumor is basically characterized by the abnormal or uncontrolled growth of cells in the brain. The brain tumors occur in the brain in two different ways - some tumors spread from a cancer affected part of the body to the brain, while some other tumors start their growth in the brain itself. Given below are the major symptoms of brain tumor.

Changes in personality are also observed in people suffering from brain tumor.

Over exposure to certain harmful chemicals can lead to brain tumor.
The brain tumor survival rates depend on various factors, such as the location of the brain tumor, the size and type of the brain tumor, stage of the brain tumor and whether the patient is suffering from any other ailment. The brain tumor survival rates are around eighty percent for those suffering from oligodendroglioma brain cancer.

Brain cancer remains one of the most incurable forms of cancer, with an average survival period of one to two years.

Factors Affecting Survival
Several factors can influence the five-year survival rate of cancer patients. These include the size of the tumor, its location in the brain, the type and severity of the cancer, the stage of the cancer and the overall health of the patient.

How Survival Rates are Calculated
Survival statistics are based on large numbers of people, and should not be used to predict the survival of an individual patient.

Age and Survival
A patient's age has much to do with how long he will survive with brain cancer, as the odds decrease with age. According to healthline.com, children to the age of 14 have a 73 percent chance of surviving five years, while the rate drops to 55 percent for young adults between 15 and 44. Middle-aged patients between 45 and 64 have a 16 percent survival rate, and the elderly have a survival rate of only 5 percent.

Other Facts

Despite the gloomy statistics, it has been shown that a combination of radiation treatment and chemotherapy can lengthen the life of brain cancer survivors, and in some cases, even improve the quality of life, while patients who forgo treatment do not live as long.

The Brain Cancer presented here are based on the relative survival rate. The overall 5-year relative brain cancer survival rate for 1995-2001 was 33.3 percent.
The 5-year relative survival rates for brain cancer by race and sex were as follows:

• 32.1 percent for Caucasian men
• 33.5 percent for Caucasian women
• 37.7 percent for African-American men
• 37.5 percent for African-American women.

Stage Four Brain Cancer Survival Rate Statistics reveals that mental stress and negative emotional is responsible for around 85% of physical disorders.
