Cancer Symptoms and Signs

By John Li Liu

Already, scientists have been surprised that more cancer patients harbor these errant cells that have been believed. In one study, the test has been used on men thought to have cancer confined to the prostate, but we found these cells in two thirds of patients.

You could see the number of cancer cells and show that it has decreased over time. It was what the scans showed, people said doctors looking at her blood tests. The trial also showed when he had a setback last January and needed to have his salary adjusted.

Normally the affected individual may be the first one to spot the cancer symptoms and signs first during self examination. But the physicians or doctors aside from examining the person physically might also suggest him to endure numerous diagnostic tests and laboratory tests including blood tests, ultrasound scans and biopsy. Once the presence of cancer is found then the physician might ask the person to undergo few more tests to discover if the disease has spread from the place of origin to other body parts. This can help them to discover the stage of the disease and in addition helps them to device a treatment plan appropriately.

To detect very rare cells, the new technology uses tiny channels dug into a silicon chip coated with a special substance as glue. The technology is able to pick up, about 10 cancer cells per milliliter of blood in patients with metastatic cancer, a disease that has spread from a primary tumor to other parts of the body.

Information About Cancer Symptoms

By Brijesh Ghelani

The term "cancer" often sends a chill running as it is known to be one of the deadliest diseases the world has seen till today. The term is used as a broad classification to denote diseases that are caused by random and uncontrollable cell growth in the human body. Though the disease is classified into five major groups, there are more than 100 types of cancer depending on the area or organ where abnormal cells start to develop.

The cure for cancer is not yet completely established though medical advancement has raised the cure ratio to almost about 60-70%. The disease is completely curable when it s detected in the early stages and its growth controlled. Thus this calls in for the need or the awareness for every individual to know about cancer and its symptoms. Though some of the types of cancer do not show any symptoms or signs until they develop into advanced stages, many exhibit common symptoms which can be watched for. This article is all about the symptoms associated with cancer and detailed information about them.

1. Fatigue - The most common symptom that cancer exhibits is persistent fatigue. The patient experiences fatigue in all stages of the disease and is more pronounced in the advanced states. Though many cancers exhibit fatigue at the early state itself clearly, some might not display till the disease grows extensively inside the body. Fatigue can be experienced by both kinds of cancers, be it malignant or malignant and is often associated to becoming anaemic plus loss of immunity in the body. In the types of cancer that affect the bowel organs or the area, fatigue is a very common symptom.

2. Weight Loss - Loss of weight is normally a pleasure for many, but unexpected and excessive weight loss is a point of concern. Loss of excessive weight which may or may not be associated with appetite loss is also known to be one major symptom of cancer. Though weight loss denotes the possibility of many diseases, it is wise to consult a doctor if you think that you have lost massively within a short period.

3. Fever - A fever is a mild indication given by the body that something is wrong internally. Though fever is associated with many diseases, persistent fever or one that occurs frequently needs to be attended. Such kind of fevers normally denotes a stressed immune system and it is advisable to then get screening for cancer done. Normally cancers related to blood like leukemia or lymphoma show symptoms of fever and so also do other cancers which are in quite advanced state.

4. Bowel Changes - Colon cancer normally exhibits symptoms of bowel changes which might be followed with constipation, diarrhea, gas or blood in stools. In case of such situations, it is advisable to consult your physician and get a screening done for cancer. These though are common symptoms of cancer, and sometimes can also be linked to other types of cancer.

5. Cough - Cough is normally a day-to-day affair, though it is a must to seek medical guidance when it stays for a longer time or is persistent and worse. Chronic cough that is related with mucus or blood is normally a symptom of cancer in the lungs. Though chronic cough with mucus and blood can be caused by many conditions, lung cancer is one possible disease they could be associated with.

6. Pain - Pain is a symptom of cancer but when it is in an advanced stage. It is sometimes a symptom in earlier stages of cancer types which spreads and affects the bone. In other cases of cancer, pain is experienced only when the cancer is in an advanced state and has spread to other parts of the body and nerves. Ovarian and colon cancer can be associated with pain in the lower back. Pain in the shoulder is often related to lung cancer while stomach pains are often related to cancer of the stomach, pancreas, etc. Persistent headaches also need to be taken into consideration as it can be a symptom of malignant or benign tumors of the brain.

These are a few very generic symptoms that are related to cancer though these symptoms can also be caused by other health conditions. Also these can be exhibited in many stages of the different cancer types depending on the individual and the level of spread of the disease.

But this is not all; specific cancer types showcase specific symptoms as an indication of the disease. Below is a list of specific symptoms for a few well-known types of cancer.

* Bone cancer is associated with pain and swelling of the affected area along with weakness and fracture in the bones.
* Brain cancer can be accompanied with dizziness, drowsiness and abnormal eye movements and vision changes.
* Breast cancer is associated with lumps in the breasts and discharge from nipples.
* Leukemia is cancer of the blood cells and can show symptoms of weakness, paleness, fever and prolonged bleeding effects.
* Blood in the urine or pain in the back along with high blood pressure is normally a sign of kidney cancer.
* Skin cancer can cause change in existing moles or bumps on the skin along with discoloration and bleeding.
* Oral Cancer is characterized by lumps or ulcers in the mouth, lip, tongue or inside lining of the mouth. It is also normally accompanied by oral pains, loose teeth, foul breadth and bleeding.
* Ovarian Cancer is cancer of the ovaries which possess signs of swelling and discomfort in the abdomen along with bleeding in an abnormal manner in the vagina.
* Abdominal pain and unexpected weight loss is also sometimes seen in case of pancreatic cancer which might also cause yellowing of the skin and enlargement of the spleen ad liver.
* Patients suffering from stomach cancer can experience difficulties in urination and in retaining urine in the bladder.

They might feel the frequent urgency to urinate along with the burning or painful urination. They might also at times experience dull pain in the pelvic area and/or in the back.

Early Detection of Cancer Symptoms

By Roy Max

The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that in the year 2000 there were more than fifty-six (56) million deaths from all types of cancer worldwide. WHO estimates that the number of new cancer diagnoses will increase by 50% to more than fifteen (15) million new cases every year by the year 2020.

According to "The World Cancer Report" a study authored by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) there is an opportunity to have an impact and reduce the number of future diagnosed cases by taking immediate action today to preserve the health of the population, educate and address risk factors that least to cancer diagnoses. "Action now can prevent one third of cancers, cure another third, and provide good, palliative care to the remaining third who need it," said Dr. Paul Kleihues, Director of IARC.

In addition to preventative measures include lifestyle changes regarding healthy diet and exercise, as well as smoking cessation, education on the early detection of cancer symptoms is critical to positive patient resolution and a reduction in cancer morbidity rates.

Stomach cancer symptoms manifest as digestion issues, conditions of acid reflux and abdominal pain. Clinicians have concluded that a bacterium called a Helicobacter Pylori infection caused an estimated 85% of recorded stomach cancer occurrences.

Bowel cancer symptoms can appear as chronic diarrhea or changes in stool behavior either more frequent (diarrhea) or less frequent (constipation). Bowel cancer symptoms can at times be masked by other conditions such as hemorrhoids or Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and can easily be misdiagnosed.

Throat cancer symptoms present themselves in the pharynx which is the hollow tube structure inside the neck that begins behind the nose and finishes where the airway and stomach esophagus begin. Initial symptoms can include a sore neck and open sores (or lesions) which may or may not bleed. Difficulty swallowing and a noticeable change of tone of voice are two throat cancer symptoms that present themselves at the onset. Mouth cancer symptoms can include large tumor growths in the upper-mouth, and around the lips and tongue.

Testicular cancer can be difficult to detect due to the reluctance of men to discuss problems with their testicles with their physicians. Attitudes toward sexuality and impeding sexual performance can be partly attributed to some of the hesitancies expressed by men to both conduct examinations and seek information and treatment.

Uterine cancer symptoms are the most common of all female reproduction system diagnoses and is the fourth most common cancer found in women worldwide. About 95% of uterine cancer is detected in the endometrial tissues inside the uterus with the other 5% detected in the musculature network outside the uterus. Cancer detected inside the tissue of the uterus is referred to as endometrial cancer and 2.6% of women in North America have a probability of developing this condition in their lifetime.

Pancreatic cancer in the United States alone are responsible for more than 40,000 deaths per year. The death rate from the diagnoses and the rate of confirmed cases of pancreatic cancer symptoms are almost equal, with mortality rates equivalent to new cases each year. Pancreatic cancer has the shortest average patient survival time of all types of cancer, with the average life span of a Stage II or higher diagnoses being less than one year.

Patient self-management is key and empowering individuals to be aware of changes and abnormalities in their own personal health is the best source of early detection and prevention of morbidity in cancer diagnosed populations.

Cancer Symptoms to Watch Out For!

By James Turner

Cancer prevention is better than cancer treatment. Although there are several cancer treatments options these days, it is still better to prevent the disease from occurring. Surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and other kinds of cancer treatments are effective when the cancer is diagnosed in its early stage. Even with the most advance medical equipment and powerful drugs, it is very difficult to treat cancer in its advance stage. This is the reason why many doctors recommend everyone especially those with a family history of cancer to watch out for the different cancer symptoms and signs. Early diagnosis is very imperative for a successful treatment of cancer. Those who are at risk for any kind of cancer should have a regular checkup. In addition, everyone should be aware of the different signs and symptoms of cancer.

General Signs and Symptoms

There are more than 200 kinds of cancer and each has different signs and symptoms. There are however some general signs and symptoms for which are associated with all types of cancer. The acronym CAUTION is usually used to help people remember the warning cancer signs and symptoms. The C stands for change in the bowel habits while the A stands for a cut or sore which does not heal. The U means unusual discharge or bleeding and the T is for thickening or lump in any part of the body especially the breast. The I stands for indigestion or difficulties in swallowing. On the other hand, O means obvious changes in a mole or a wart while the N stands for nagging cough or hoarseness. These general cancer symptoms should be remembered by every one. If you experience any of these signs and symptoms, you should go to your doctor immediately.

Lung Cancer Signs and Symptoms

Lung cancer is the number one cause of cancer death both in men and women worldwide according to cancer statistics as of 2004. Most of the common lung cancer symptoms do not appear immediately. Hence, those who have a family history of lung cancer and smokers should undergo lung cancer tests regularly. The signs and symptoms of lung cancer are shortness of breath (dyspnea), chronic coughing, pain in the abdomen or chest area and coughing up of blood (hemoptysis). Other symptoms are wheezing, weight loss, fatigue, hoarseness and loss of appetite.

Brain Cancer Signs and Symptoms

Some brain cancer types do not manifest any cancer symptoms or signs which is why it is difficult to diagnose the disease in its early stage. There are some warning signs and symptoms to watch out for. They might be caused by other brain diseases but doctors recommend individuals to watch out for them nonetheless. Brain cancer symptoms are usually caused by the presence of the tumor which can cause swelling and inflammation in the brain. The common brain cancer symptoms and signs are headache, difficulty in walking, seizures, weakness and clumsiness. Another symptom to watch out for is changes in a person's mental status such as changes in memory, attention and concentration. Nausea and vomiting early in the morning, speech difficulties, vision abnormalities and gradual changes in the emotional and intellectual capacity of a person are other signs and symptoms to be aware of.

Paying Attention to Cancer Symptoms

By Stuart Ben

Cancer, in its many different forms and types is a disease most of us fear. The different types of treatments are not easy to go through, physically and mentally and their success rates aren't always high. Among factors that can affect the treatment's odds and chances to beat the disease, is the extremely important factor of early detection.

No matter what cancer type it is, early detection always increases the odds to beat the disease and clear one's body from the cancerous cells or remove the tumor. Early detection is sometimes critical while it often leads to the treatments beginning in the early stages of the cancer, when the chances that the cancer has spread are still low and that the tumor hasn't had a lot of time to grow. If the cancer hasn't spread, treatment can be targeted in a better way with any kind of treatment available (surgery, chemotherapy or radiation to name a few) and thus raise the chances to expel the cancer from the body.

To detect a cancer tumor in or on our body in its early stages, we must be alert to possible cancer symptoms and basically be attentive to our body. We mustn't ignore abnormalities in our body and dismiss them as "nothing", as me must look into what's wrong and make sure it is "nothing".

There are many different cancer symptoms, as there are many different types of cancer. But there are a few symptoms that are universal and most cancers share.

One major symptom is of course an abnormal growth or lump that appears anywhere on your body. If the specific part of the body is not supposed to suddenly grow, this may indicate there is a problem. Woman can feel lumps in their breasts that may indicate there is breast cancer; thyroid cancer manifests as a lump under the skin which you can see and feel in the neck area, lymphoma will make your lymph nodes larger than they normally are. In Melanoma, the cancer will appear on your skin as a lump, a brown spot or a mole suddenly changing.

Another very frequent cancer symptom is abnormal bleeding. Different types of cancer manifests in unexpected bleeding. Bladder, kidney and prostate cancer can cause blood to appear in the urine, colorectal cancer causes blood to appear in the stool and endometrial and cervical cancer can cause abnormal vaginal bleeding, both during menstrual periods and between them. Lung cancer can cause one to cough up blood or for blood to appear in the sputum and leukemia can cause excessively bleeding. Once one is experiencing unusual bleeding, they should have it checked out.

Different types of cancer also cause the universal symptoms of sudden weight loss or weakness and fatigue. Cancer can cause an unplanned drop in your weight for no apparent reason, as it can be accompanied by a loss of appetite, but not necessarily. Most cancers also can cause unexplained weakness and tiredness and one will not understand why.

In addition to general cancer symptoms as mentioned, there is always the subjective symptom of sudden unexplained pain in a certain area of the body. One may experience pain in the pelvis area from prostate, cervical and endometrial cancer. Bladder cancer can cause pain during urination, colorectal will cause pain in the stomach as will pancreatic cancer, lung cancer can cause chest pain, thyroid Cancer can cause pain in the neck and throat and your leukemia may cause bone and joint pain.

It is important to understand that any of these cancer symptoms mentioned above do not mean that anyone experiencing them necessarily has cancer. These are also symptoms that can be caused by different and other conditions then a cancerous tumor. However, if one of these does appear, it is important not to neglect it and have a doctor examine the problem.

What Is Cancer And Do You Have Cancer Symptoms?

Let's get right to it. What is cancer? It is a blackness that spreads through your body and steals your life, your dreams, and your future. No need to be all technical about it because we all know what it does and we all know that it will kill you if not treated correctly. To be a little more specific, cancer happens when deformed cells divide and create other deformed cells where the DNA is altered and cancer is allowed to grow and spread to your organs. This is how it starts, but what are the symptoms to watch out for?

You can usually feel when something isn't quite right in your body, but sometimes those who are around you a lot can tell when your mood changes and you start to act strangely. It can be something that you may not even notice, so be sure to listen to those who see you from the outside. High fever, chills, strange pains in your body could all be signs of this dreaded disease. So, if you find your suffering from any of these types of symptoms, make sure to have yourself checked out thoroughly.

Cancer is caused by free radicals that are caused by something that a lot of people do not really pay attention too, and that is environmental pollution. This growing problem is creating a lot of problems in our bodies, namely imbalance in the natural workings of things. When imbalance happens, your body PH levels start to change from an alkaline state where your body is unable to become diseased to an acidic state where cancer and disease can take you hostage.

If you have been diagnosed with cancer there is a real easy solution to help you overcome this horrible disease and as crazy as this sounds, this tool we use is so easy that a very young child could do it. We have discussed what causes cancer, free radicals. We have talked about what causes free radicals, environmental pollution. What we need to discuss now is how do we fix the pollution problem inside our bodies? That question is easily answered. You must remove the pollution from inside your body, right down to the cells. You must restore balance where imbalance is happening. Removing the source of this imbalance can help you get right back on track with your life, future intact, dreams intact and most importantly your life completely intact.

What if I told you that your body was the cure? What if I also told you that if you supply your body with the right tools, it can overcome many different types of diseases, even cancer? Your body is an amazing creation. It was designed with many defense mechanisms, and unfortunately these mechanisms are being over ridden with the onslaught of environmental pollution. It is everywhere and in everything and is impossible to avoid. We must remove it if we are to help restore the balance in our bodies.

Balance is key and it is very possible and very attainable. First you must quit saying that this sounds too good to be true. It does sound that way, but I'm here to tell you that it isn't. It is out there waiting to be discovered by you. It has already been discovered by many who have restored balance to their bodies, are you next? There is a saying "don't knock it till you try it" so I am asking you to brush aside your skepticism and realize the future. That future is hope of a disease free future for those told they have a life threatening disease and have very few options.

I want to share an amazing option with you, and learning is only clicks away, don't wait, learn about this amazing new discovery that is changing lives every single day. Is your life in need of changing? Is someone you care about in need of a life changing discovery? I think you found it, or it found you, either way, here we are. Healing starts when you start to believe. Discover the truth about your body and what it can truly overcome with the right tools.

I bet you're asking yourself right now if actually avoiding cancer can really be true. What if I told you it was very true and is very easy. It can be done without changing your lifestyle, unless your one that smokes, then really you're just asking for it. One way to avoid getting horrible diseases like cancer is keeping your bodies PH level in check. A simple way to do that is by removing environmental pollutants from the body. Pollutants are one of the main causes of PH level imbalances. Let me explain PH for a moment.

There are 2 PH states that your body goes through, one is acidic, one is alkaline. In an acidic state, disease can roam freely unchecked by your body's defense system, which is why cancer can take a hold and spread very quickly. It's the perfect environment for disease to thrive in. In an alkaline state, your body's tissues and organs are infused with oxygen. In this alkaline environment diseases like cancer can't even begin to grow in your body. An alkaline state is where you want to keep your body; this provides the balance needed to live a healthy life style.

So, simply removing environmental pollutants from your body can provide your body with the exact tool it needs for beating cancer. A newly discovered method has been shown to extract pollutants from the body naturally with zero side effects and is very effective at restoring your body to an alkaline state. This is the most pain free and chemical free way of beating this disease. So, understanding this shows you that cancer can be very easily defeated. Not only that, but you can also restore harmony and balance to the workings of your body, where you get an overall feeling of good health and vitality.

Give your body the tools it needs to beat diseases like cancer. Mother Nature has given us so many amazing tools. This newly discovered method provided by Mother Nature herself gives you the safest way of eliminating the causes of cancer and restoring your body's youth. We are all in danger from this disease; our planet has become too toxic for us to continue life without preventative help. We all face this threat but it is up to each one of us to discover for ourselves the tools provided by nature to help us fight back. There is one method that can really give us the ability to defy the odds. You owe it to yourself to learn more, prevention is only clicks away.

Detecting Breast Cancer to Save a Life

When thinking about the people in life that we love the most; that we try hardest to protect and that we'd be lost without, we tend to think of the women in our lives. It is our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, wives, daughters and other special women that we feel the most protective over. Unfortunately, they are also the people most likely to be diagnosed withe breast cancer. According to the National Cancer Institute, 1 in 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

Luckily, breast cancer does not have to be a life sentence. Detecting it early equals a greater chance of survival. Cancer in the breast can be detected by self breast exams (SBE), clinical breast exams (CBE) and mammograms. Taking the time to learn about breast cancer and informing others can help save a life of the people we love.

Self breast exams should be done monthly after the woman's menstrual cycle. There are several steps to performing a SBE. First, without a shirt or bra on, a woman should examine her breasts in the mirror looking for warning signals such as lumps, dimpling, discharge or any other sudden changes in the appearance of the breast. Continue looking at the breasts with both arms above the head. Second, lying down with the right arm overhead, use the three middle fingers of the left hand to feel around the right breast. Starting at the nipple and moving outward, make circular motions around the breast using light pressure, then medium pressure and hard pressure. Next, using the same fingers, feel the breast in lines going up and down the breast from the nipple. Switch the arm and the hand and redo the steps on the left breast. Although doing SBE's is not the recommended method for finding breast cancer, it is highly important in helping women know what is normal for their breast and their body while helping to spot any changes.

To assist in early detection, women over 20 are also encouraged to get clinical breast exams (CBE) by their doctor every three years and every year after age 40. The process of a CBE is much like that of a SBE only it is done by a trained medical professional.

While self breast exams and clinical breast exams are important factors in detecting breast cancer, the most effective tool is a mammogram. Mammograms are recommended yearly for women over 40.

The best detection method is to use all three of this exams together as recommended.

While early detection is helpful to survive breast cancer, there are also steps that can be taken to prevent it. A person can help to prevent breast cancer by limiting alcohol consumption to 1 drink a day, exercising regularly, knowing their body and knowing their family history.

Together, we can educate all of the special women in our lives and encourage them to start a breast exam schedule.

All About Breast Cancer Research and Treatment

Friday, June 4, 2010 4:20:00 PM Posted by Cancer Centers 1 comments

Breast cancer is considered as a killer disease and it is known to be the top cause of cancer death among women. According to American cancer society, about 1.3 million new breast cancer cases are diagnosed on an annually basis which includes 465,000 deaths. In order to successfully tackle this devastating disease, we must encourage innovative scientists to study cancer at its most basic level. In other words, breast cancer research work should be conducted at its molecular level. Also, besides the governments, private organizations should provide flexible funding to scientists who will be conducting breast cancer research work. Proper funding of breast cancer research projects; can not only lead to better prevention strategies but it can also help towards earlier diagnostic techniques and new anticancer drugs and treatments.

A world renowned cancer researcher, named Lothar Hirneise has come to an understanding that cancer exist with stress. He is of the opinion that when the mind is under constant stress, the body then produces high levels of stress hormone called Cortisol. The immune system gets suppressed with high levels of Cortisol in the body. Also, a stressed mind will release out Adrenaline to an extent of depletion. People suffering from cancer are found to be having almost no adrenaline in their cells. In fact, cells of cancer patients are often overloaded with insulin and plenty of sugar. Another leading German cancer researcher by the name of ‘Ryke-Geerd Hamer has gone through twenty thousand cancer patients and found a direct relationship between psycho-emotional conflict and cancer patients. This occurs between 1 to 3 years, prior to cancer diagnosis and cancer forming within the body. Cancer patients, who have experienced a psycho – emotional conflict shock, in the form of loss of a loved one etc, few years prior to their cancer urine, has experienced emotional pain and stress within themselves. Such a state of mind can have an adverse effect on the immune system of the person’s body.

Recently, researchers who are working towards breast cancer research project, have developed and successfully tested a breast cancer vaccine which is likely to treat women with treatment – resistant HER2 – positive breast cancer and thus be able to prevent cancer re – occurrence. Breast cancer researchers look forward to use HER2 DNA vaccines for cancer – free women, in order to prevent initial development of such tumours. At present, therapies such as trastuzumab and lapatimib are used towards treating breast cancer patients. However, it was lately noticed that a huge group of patients develop a resistance towards trastuzumab and lapatimib. HER2 receptors are known to promote a particularly aggressive type of tumour that affects about thirty percent of breast cancer patients.

The new breast cancer vaccine is produced by the body’s own cells. It delivers a cancer fighting gene into cells, which then produce immune system proteins and also tumor – destroying cells. According to the lead researcher Wei – Zen Wei, a professor of immunology and microbiology at the Karmanos Cancer Institute, the vaccine is made by using so – called naked DNA from genes that produces the HER2 receptor. The process involved in the making of the vaccine, is called as electroporation. The genes moved towards the cells, which then produced HER2 receptors that led to activation of antibodies and immune cells called Killer T cells.

Breast Cancer Affecting Women
Breast cancer can affect women and men alike and is the second most common type of cancer worldwide next to lung cancer. Breast cancer is the fifth most common cause of cancer death worldwide. Among women, this cancer is the most common cancer worldwide. It is more prominent in industrially developed countries than in countries not industrially developed.

There are plenty of signs or symptoms involved with detecting breast cancer. The most notable sign or symptom is the discovery of a lump. This lump usually feels different than the surrounding tissue. More than 80 percent of cases are discovered by the woman doing a self-test and finding a lump on the breast according to the Merck Manual. The first red flag discovered by doctors is through mammograms according to American Cancer Society.

Breast Cancer Symptoms
Having breast cancer is no longer the death sentence that it used to be. The medical profession has made some amazing strides in breast cancer detection and treatment options. However, the key to having the best chance of survival is early detection. The most common sign of breast cancer is noticing a lump in the breast or a thickening of the breast. Breast lumps can often be just fatty tissue and not cancerous, but that is the first sign that normally sends people to go see their doctor to have a thorough examination.

Tips on Breast Cancer
New information has been discovered by research about the causes of breast cancer. It is now believed that genetic and/or hormonal factors are the main risk factors for breast cancer. Doctors can identify how cancer has spread by using staging systems and this helps them to make the best decisions in regards to treatment options. These treatments options can include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and hormone therapy, biological therapy and treatment choices by stage.

The best thing that women can do is try to prevent breast cancer before it happens. You should try to eliminate undue stress in your life and this may require you to make a change in your current lifestyle. You should eat a proper diet and make sure that you participate in a regular exercise program.

Treatment For Breast Cancer
According to Lothar Hirneise, world renowned cancer researcher, cancer cannot exist without stress. Consistent high levels of Cortisol in the body suppress the immune system. The immune system is responsible for destroying rogue cancer cells in the body.

When the mind is under constant stress the body releases and is eventually depleted of Adrenaline. People with cancer possess virtually no adrenaline in their cells. Instead, the cells of cancer patients are overloaded with insulin and too much sugar.

Surgery is one option for breast cancer treatment. In a mastectomy, the entire breast is removed. In a lumpectomy, just an area of the breast containing the cancer is removed. The choice depends on many factors. Your health care professional can help you to understand these factors.

Chemotherapy is another breast cancer treatment that is fairly common. Chemotherapy affects the entire body by going through the bloodstream. The goal is to rid the body of any cancer cells that could have possibly spread from the breast into other parts of the body. Today this type of treatment is much more effective with fewer side effects than in previous years.

Recognize Symptoms of Breast Cancer before the Late

Breast cancer symptoms can be experienced by men as well as women but breast cancer is very rare in men compared to women. More than 1 in 10 women are likely to suffer from breast cancer symptoms, and be diagnosed with breast cancer, in a lifetime. Breast cancer symptoms can be detected when a lump, tumor, or cyst grows large enough to either be felt or seen on a mammogram. Breast cancer symptoms don’t often manifest themselves until the cancer is already in its later stages of growth, and may have already metastasized to other more vital areas of the body. Breast cancer symptoms are often subtle, and self discovery can be elusive. Due to the high incidence of breast cancer among older women, screening is now recommended in many countries.

Lumps or masses in the breast are not unusual, and most of them are not cancerous. Some breast masses can be felt during a breast exam.

Lump may form in the breast, chest or under the arm if the cancer is in the breast or near the chest wall. You will also notice a change in the size, shape and skin of the breast.

Earlier the diagnosis of breast cancer always involved the removal of the breast and the surrounding skin, muscles underneath the breast and the lymph nodes underneath the arm. Today’s method of diagnosis is well advanced without the above mentioned procedure radical mastectomy.

Among young women, a lump that moves may be a sign of fibrocystic breast disease. Generally, breast cancer is a much more aggressive disease in younger women. Generally a lump that is cancerous will not be tender to the touch, it will be hard, non-movable, and not change rapidly in size (within several days or weeks). If a lump is tender, it could be a cyst or a swollen lymph node. Genetic counseling and genetic testing should be considered for families who may carry a heritidary form of cancer.

Inflammatory breast cancer is an uncommon type of breast cancer, which includes the breast being warm, red, and swollen. The inflammation occurs because the cancer cells block the lymphatic vessels in the skin of the breast . Breast cancer is a common disease. Each year, approximately 200,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with breast cancer, and one in nine American women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Breast cancer occurs much more commonly in women and fewer than 1 in 100 of breast cancers occur in men. In the UK, approximately 250 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. Breast cancer starts in the cells of the breast. The breast tissue covers an area larger than just the breast.

Women with one of these defects have up to an 80% chance of getting breast cancer sometime during their life. Women who attend Infinite Boundaries retreats are in all stages of breast cancer. The more you drink, the greater your risk

Women had limited knowledge of their relative risk of developing breast cancer, of associated risk factors and of the diversity of potential breast cancer-related symptoms. Older women were particularly poor at identifying symptoms of breast cancer, risk factors associated with breast cancer and their personal risk of developing the disease.
